Since starting Doug Schneider Photography in 2005, I've had the pleasure of working with a wide array of clients across many industries. My photos have been published in numerous magazines and books and featured on TV and websites.
I approach each project with a high level of commitment and professionalism, whether it’s shooting food and interiors for a restaurant, documenting a destination wedding or taking portraits of local kids and families. I'm based just north of New York City in the lovely rivertown of Dobbs Ferry, NY, where I work with my most important client, my wife Sara of Sara Bakes Cakes.
Beyond photography, I’m a certified music fanatic. In addition to checking out as much live music as I can, I play drums and write songs for Greetings From Anywhere, an acoustic roots-rock band. I’m also crazy about eating, cooking and looking at food. I can be found every year at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, where the best of all my worlds collide into a potent cocktail of live music, outrageous food and, of course, many interesting things to photograph.
